TRAINING

A category 3 medical certificate, delivered by a civil aviation medical examiner, is required before starting your training.

STUDENT PILOT PERMIT (solo flights - no passenger)

Minimum age: 14

Pilot with no experience

  1. Minimum 12 hours of dual flight

  2. 40 hours of ground school

  3. Pass the PSTAR exam (within your training unit)

  4. Pass the Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Certificate

CPL / PPL holder (Airplane or Helico)

  1. 12 hours of dual flight

  2. 20 hours of ground school

PILOT PERMIT

Minimum age: 17

Pilot with no experience

  1. 45 hours of total flight time

  2. Pass a flight test with your instructor

  3. Pass the GYROP exam of TC (50 questions – pass mark: 60%)

CPL / PPL holder (Airplane or Helico)

  1. 30 hours of total flight time

  2. Pass a flight test with your instructor

  3. Pass the GYROP exam of TC (50 questions – pass mark: 60%)
